In yet another example of Marketing Breakthroughs' unique
approach to having fun, the first annual MBoorama event took place
on Friday, October 30.

It was a star-studded Halloween event that saw the likes of Captain Canada, the
Sens-Gator, Luigi Preston, a cute (yet stinky)
Skunk, The March Hare, Weekend Ben, Medusa, two pregnant Krystal
Bevins, and two lovely Geisha
girls.
The afternoon started off with the introduction of MBoorama's
celebrity judges: Robert Dick (Neilcorp
Homes), Kalum Figura (
Rogers Radio), Greg Callwood (
Rogers Radio), and Craig McConnell (Miller McConnell).
Their role was to keep the competitive events on schedule and to
judge the costume contest, the fast-paced action of the
pumpkin-carving contest, and to hand out the wonderful
prizes.

Martinis and other delicious beverages were served up all
afternoon by Captain Canada himself, Steve Klein. The
event was filled with creative costumes, great prizes (including
tickets to events and restaurant gift certificates), and plenty of
laughter.

In the end, the grand prize winner of two box seat tickets to the
Jay-Z concert on November 1 at Scotiabank Place was awarded to
Medusa (Caitlin
Hines), thanks to her spooky costume and her surprisingly
detailed pumpkin-carving skills.
It was an event that showcased Marketing Breakthroughs' great
spirit and creativity. Thanks to the efforts of all those who took
part in helping to organize the event, and especially to the
celebrity judges who took the time out of their day to be a part of
the first annual MBoorama Halloween event!
Until next year!
