April 9, 2010 - Magazine racks across Ottawa
recently added a new quarterly to the mix. "The Voice" of Ottawa's
business community is an exciting publication produced by the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce
and its inaugural issue features a familiar face.
Yes, our very own master and commander, Steve Klein,
graces the cover, along with three other worthy Ottawa movers and
shakers in recognition of their outstanding contributions to Ottawa
business in 2009.
This past November, the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce held the 16th
annual Ottawa Business Achievement Awards and Marketing
Breakthroughs took home some hardware in the form of
Gold for Professional Services of the Year. MB, along with the
other 2009 winners, were then given the royal cover story
treatment. Inside the pages of this first edition of The Voice,
Steve is asked about the secrets behind MB's success: "We offer a
unique solution, and, simply, we just help clients grow."
Since winning the Gold on November 26th, MB has been awash with
well wishes and congratulations from dozens and dozens of friends
and clients. Honoured to be recognized by the Ottawa Chamber of
Commerce yet again, Steve had this to say about the magazine
feature: "We are thrilled to be on the cover of The Voice and in
its inaugural issue."
The official launch for The Voice took place over "Cocktails and
Commerce" on the evening of Wednesday, March 31st. MB's Casey O'Brien was
on hand to celebrate the magazine and to "enjoy the rather unique
and entertaining" networking opportunity. Praising the Chamber of
Commerce Executive Director Erin Kelly as being an excellent
speaker, Casey went on to say she was very much impressed by the
event: "This was the first Otttawa Chamber event I've attended and
I was really impressed by the format, the speaker and the
compelling message for those involved in the Ottawa market
place."
